StackCompass exists because marketing pages and binding documents disagree more often than you would expect. This page is the whole method, so you can audit us the way we audit the tools.
The rules
- Official sources only
- Prices come from the vendor's own pricing page. Commission terms come from the binding agreement, not the recruiting page. Third-party roundups are never a source.
- The binding document wins
- When a marketing page and a legal document disagree, we cite the legal document and say so. Example: Systeme.io advertises a lifetime cookie; the agreement caps attribution at 1 year (verified 2026-07-22). We cite 1 year.
- Every figure is dated
- Each table carries the access date of its verification. Terms were last swept 2026-07-22; plan prices 2026-07-29.
- One data file, many pages
- Figures live in a single data file that regenerates every page. Two pages cannot disagree about a number without one of them being visibly stale.
- Unverified means unstated
- When we cannot verify a figure from an official source, we say so instead of quoting someone else's guess. Example: Brevo does not publish its per-sale bounty amount, so we do not print one.
- No income promises
- Commission terms describe contracts, not earnings. Nothing on this site projects what you will make.
- "Lifetime" is banned
- For recurring commissions we name the real window: a payout cap, an attribution window or a qualification period. Flat percentages without their window mislead.
What we disclose
Some links are affiliate links; the disclosure page lists every program we participate in and its terms. First-person claims appear only where we have used a tool ourselves; everything else is written in a neutral, sourced voice.

Where do the numbers on StackCompass come from?
Every price comes from the vendor's official pricing page and every commission term from the program's binding affiliate agreement or terms of service. Marketing pages lose to legal documents when they disagree. Each figure carries the date we last checked it.
How often are figures re-verified?
On a scheduled sweep at least fortnightly, plus before any new page cites a figure. When a source changes, the site regenerates from the updated data, so a stale number cannot survive in one place after being fixed in another.
Does StackCompass earn money from these tools?
Yes, some links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The verification method is the reason that does not bend recommendations: figures are quoted from sources you can check yourself, and we publish the terms of every program we participate in.
Why do you say "1-year attribution" for Systeme.io when its site says lifetime?
Systeme.io's marketing page says "lifetime cookie" but its binding affiliate agreement caps attribution at 365 days from click (verified 2026-07-22). We cite the binding document. That conflict is exactly the kind of thing this site exists to catch.
